Whether you want to reduce your monthly electricity bill or escape loadshedding, a solar solution is the way to go! Various options are available to finance solar panels, inverters and batteries. You can buy the system outright by paying cash, finance through your home loan or through a rent-to-own solar solution.

How Rent-To-Own Solar Works

• The rental period is 3, 5 or 7 years.
• There is a 10% initiation fee.
• At the end of the rental agreement you can buy the system or have it removed.
• To purchase the system after 7 years, it will cost you 10% of its original value.
• The monthly rental amount is escalated at 6.5% every 12 months.
• During the rental period you are able to purchase the system after 8 months, at a pre-determined purchase price [(outright purchase price + 10% minus once-off fee) reduced by 1% depreciation per month].
• Should you sell your property in the rental period, the new owner is able to purchase the system or take over the rental, alternatively you are able to relocate the system to your new property.
• Included in the rental is a maintenance plan and insurance.
• The system is scalable, meaning you are able to add additional solar panels, batteries and even an additional inverter if required.
• Should your solar solution include the benefit of feeding back into the grid, the benefit would go to the property owner, as the property owner will receive the reimbursement.
